Winter’s Bride

Winter’s Bride by Nellie C. Lind is fantasy romance. This book was so good. I realize that I really need a better way to describe the books that I read because they all pretty much start out the same way.

This book had an absolutely soul crushing almost ending, in the best possible way. I usually avoid books that make me cry because life is hard enough as it is, but this book sneaked up on me. I absolutely understand not wanting to read a book that will make you cry but this book still has its happily ever after. I highly recommend it even with the tears that it made me cry.

In this book we are introduced to a world that is ruled the Autumn Lord, Winter Lord, Summer Lady and Spring Lady. We follow the story of Dawn who has been secretly in love with the Winter Lord. This love has caused her to turn down several marriage proposals. One day while she is looking for her brother she ends up getting arrested for a misunderstanding. While she is imprisoned the Winter Lord reads her mind and discovers her love for him. As luck would have it the Winter Lord needs to find a bride to rebirth the Summer Lady. The Winter Lord decides to propose to Dawn and make all her dreams come true. The problem is, sometimes dreams turn into nightmares.
