Like Mothman To A Flame

Like Mothman To A Flame but Remy Cavilich is a paranormal romance. The story introduces us to Blaze the town pariah. When Blaze’s grandparent’s house burns down she must return “home”. It is her intention to get in and get out. She doesn’t want to stay any longer than necessary. Unfortunately it seems the town has other plans for her as she rekindles old friendships, meets the sexy librarian and fires continue to be started around town. Will new and old friendships be enough to change Blaze’s mind? Or will she run again?

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I first started reading this book. However, once I started I couldn’t put it down. (OK, not 100% true, I had to have a bit of a breather after some of the scenes but then I was right back at it.) This is the type of book that has the perfect blend of everything you could want in the book. It had a beautiful romance, spice, tension, suspense, mystery, you name it.This book starts out spicy, but then has a nice build of tension and romance after that. The main story line is interesting as well. It has a mystery to be solved and some suspenseful scenes as well. It does have a little violence that might be triggering to some. To me, this book was the perfect dessert, a little sweet and a little salty.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a unique on the paranormal. If you enjoy romance, paranormal, darker underlying stories and a bit of spice, this is the book for you.

** I received this book as an ARC from the author. This is an honest review and all thoughts and opinions are my own. **
